- The climate in this part of the province is temperate, verging on cool; warm I the summer and cold in winter.

- Hat and clothes that are suitable for the time of year. A rain cape and umbrella in case it rains . An umbrella can also be used as a parasol.
- A lightly packed and evenly distributed rucksack.
- Before talking and long distance routes, it is a good idea to get in shape with occasional walks, increasing in length over time.
- Please close the gates and barriers behind you.
- Take extreme care along stretches of the main road. Walk on the left.
